The Joshua Camp
From the 1-13 August, London will hosting a mini ‘World Youth Day’ just a 20-minute walk from the main Olympic site. The Joshua Camp will take place during the Olympic and Paralympic Games in London, and needs your help to serve on projects of Hospitality, Service and Evangelisation in key churches across the city. The Joshua Camp aims to bring together groups from across the UK as well as the rest of the world to create a joyful Catholic presence in the capital. For just £235, you will have your meals, transport and accommodation covered. More importantly, you will have an opportunity to grow your relationship with God, learn how to share your faith with others and help regenerate a lasting legacy of faith in this country. Pope Benedict XVI asks us to “Speak with courage and Humility” of Christ as “the source of Hope for our lives”. The Olympics offer the perfect opportunity to answer this call.
