Byl velk\u00fdm ctitelem Eucharistie a Panny Marie. \u017dil ve Viln\u011b v Litv\u011b, tam tak\u00e9 4.3.1484 zem\u0159el na tuberkul\u00f3zu a byl poh\u0159ben v katedr\u00e1le. V roce 1521 byl prohl\u00e1\u0161en za svat\u00e9ho.<br \/>\nDne\u0161n\u00ed den se tedy raduj\u00ed v\u0161ichni Litevci, kte\u0159\u00ed jsou hned po Pol\u00e1c\u00edch na druh\u00e9m m\u00edst\u011b v po\u010dtu cizinc\u016f v Anglii.
